Five Top Wild, Raw Greens for Major Digestive Support and Perfect Elimination

Who can digest better than wild animals? These animals are able to have completely normal digestive processes, without heartburn, bloating, and reflux. Plus, they have healthy elimination and never suffer, for instance, from constipation.

What is the secret to this? In many cases its the ingestion of raw, wild plant matter, especially wild, raw greens that makes the difference. Even so, greens reveal their ultimate nature based on their color: that of bile. That’s a guide. It means that they act on all bile-related organs, particularly the liver, gallbladder, and intestines, What a revelation it is, just as God made it. In fact, such wild ‘greenish greens’ are so potent that they are capable of purging and dissolving gall stones.

For nearly all humans the ingestion of such powerful natural complexes simply never occurs. Yet, it is routine for a wide range of animals, including foxes, wolves, moose, elk, deer, geese, and ducks. Even farm animals consume these, because on pasture there are plenty of wild greens: dandelion, clover, burdock, nettles, plantain, chicory, wild violets, and others. As a result, any such animals virtually never suffer from digestive disorders.

The greens are dense sources of nutrients, including multiple major minerals and a multitude of trace minerals. They are also rich sources of vitamin C, beta carotene, and flavonoids. Yet, the key benefits are a result of their powerful ability to detoxify and alkalinize the tissues. In the raw state these greens act as flushing agents, cleansing the intestines, liver, gallbladder, kidneys, and, in fact, all cells of the body.

Let’s look, then, at five of the wild greens extracts that are exceptional in their ability to detoxify and flush the body, while also providing significant, potent nourishment:

Wild Nettles

Among the most nutritionally dense of all wild greens, known as stinging nettle these are definitely desirable to consume regularly, and if not, the extract. A dense source of vitamins A, C, and K, along with a multitude of B vitamins, no other greens can compare to them. Nettles are also rich in iron, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, and sodium, while also containing wild-source essential fatty acids, like linolenic acid. Plus, they contain all eight essential amino acids. Therapeutic compounds include quercetin, caffeic acid, coumarins, and other flavonoids, along with chlorophyll and the pigments lutein and luteoxanthin.

While nettles could actually be eaten raw, no one does so. Nearly always, they are either dried or cooked. The sting frightens people. However, raw extracts are available, where the sting component doesn’t exist. The only two extracts that are available are the total body purging agent, along with the wild greens flushing complex, which also contains wild extracts of dandelion and burdock, as drops under the tongue.

Wild nettles and their extracts have been found to support a healthy digestion and elimination, while also supporting overall health of the kidneys, bladder, and prostate. Because of the dense amount of quercetin and other flavonoids nettles directly support a health response to allergy and inflammation.

Wild Dandelion Leaves

A key aspect of wild dandelion is its powers to detoxify. This is true for all cells in the body. Directly, it acts on the liver, gallbladder, and kidneys, while being known in Medieval times for its powerful diuretic properties. A most excellent natural food and medicine it is loaded with nutrition. An excellent source of beta carotene, which can be converted to vitamin A, a large salad of the greens provides nearly the entire daily need. It is also a dense source of vitamin C, most of the B complex vitamins, along with potassium, iron, calcium, magnesium, and zinc. For protein it contains more than spinach, while even having a small amount of vegetable-source vitamin D. With all these nutrients no wonder it has been relied upon since ancient times for treatment of anemia, fatigue, malnutrition, skin disorders, blood disorders, intestinal complaints, and depression. Dandelion leaves, and their extracts, are a primary natural medicine for all toxic disorders, especially sluggish intestines, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), bladder disorders, sluggish kidneys, fluid retention, and constipation.

Wild Dandelion Root

While technically not a green, the root, too, is medicinal and also nutritious. Traditionally, it has been used for stomach, kidney, and liver disorders. In early European times it was famous for its powers in reversing kidney and bladder disorders, being a potent diuretic. In folk medicine the root was known effective for a variety of skin disorders, including dermatitis and eczema. Canadian investigators have determined that it possesses significant anti-tumor properties.

Dandelion root, especially in the raw form, has potent therapeutic powers. It is held as an anti-diabetic, partly due to its soluble fiber content through a substance known as inulin. A complex carbohydrate, known as a fructooligosaccharide (FOS), inulin supports the growth of healthy bacteria, which greatly aids in the bulk of bowel movements. This would aid in increasing insulin sensitivity by slowing the flow of sugars from the small intestine, which thus reduces spikes in blood sugar. According to Denmark’s Aarhus University dandelion extract acts to stimulate pancreatic insulin production by aiding in cellular degeneration.

Unless it is picked fresh wild dandelion is rarely available. However, it can be found in supplement form as the following:

  • wild dandelion roasted root combined with raw, wild chaga, organic maca, and birch bark
  • wild, raw dandelion root combined with wild, raw dandelion leaf extract
  • total body purging agent with multiple wild, raw greens and wild, raw dandelion root

Wild Burdock

A powerful leafy plant, burdock is known primarily as a blood cleanser. It achieves this by detoxification powers on the liver and gallbladder. Nutritionally, burdock leaf is a dense source of vitamins C, A, and the B complex. Raw burdock leaf concentrates or extracts are unknown, although it is available in the total body purging agent, along with raw, wild dandelion and nettles. Regardless, it is known to eliminate gas and indigestion and is an effective anti-parasitic agent.

How can wild greens benefit you?

Wild greens exert their benefits only in the fresh, raw state. Relying on wild greens as alcohol tinctures or dehydrated powders provides mixed results. For instance, when the greens are dried, they lose 95% of their therapeutic powers. Only properly preserved wild extracts, in liquid form and with their full ionic therapeutic powers, act to achieve the desired results. A complex of all such wild greens is available, which also contains raw black seed oil, extra virgin olive oil, and raw cider vinegar. This complex, which is a total body purging agent, will act to support all digestive functions in a major, measurable, reliable way. Use it as a way to balance digestion and elimination and also as the key formula for overall detoxification. Also available is an extract of wild, raw dandelion leaves and root. The two can be used together for the optimal detoxification through natural cleansing of the intestines, liver, gallbladder, kidneys, and more. Or, simply pick them fresh and consume them immediately. This is true if these greens are free of all pesticides and herbicides and are not grown on polluted soil. Either way, there will be a noticeable improvement in health, virtually guaranteed.

    Dr. Ingram,
I appreciate you soooo much. I found your You Tube videos about a week and a half ago, and I feel so much better already. I am a RN(of 40+yrs) who is taking some time off because my strenuous work was making me deathly ill. I’ve done all the never-ending work, ICU, hemodialysis, inpatient hospice(this one all but took me out). So I am home regaining my health from various vague health problems. And, like you say, ‘a lot of those illinesses are more contagious than they say’. And, I’ve always treated my health in a natural way. I have never been on any prescribed meds…I’m sorry, but what for?…to treat the symptoms, and become more ill from side effects. So I am healing my body, so far on your wild oregano, and Chaga. Thank you so much for helping us to heal. Sincerely and with love, C. Williams RN
